Environmental Responsibility

Our environmental program is based on the pillars of measuring our environmental impact, reducing it as far as possible and offsetting the remainder in order to make True South a climate neutral company:

Measuring our impact

On an annual basis we measure our impact on the environment, by specific reference to our energy consumption, corporate travel, use of consumables (paper) and the amount of waste the office environment generates.

An easy way of measuring your own impact on the environment is by means of an online carbon calculator. Try it!.

Reducing our impact

In order to reduce our environmental impact as far as is practically possible , we focus on achieving minimum levels of office waste (mainly paper), minimise our energy and travel needs, and promote a general "reuse and recycling" culture amongst our staff.

Achieving climate neutrality

Our activities to offset our carbon footprint, is mainly focussed on the planting of indigenous trees and the provision of earthworm farm "starter kits" for the vermicomposting of organic waste.
