Software solutions for clients

As a consulting business almost all of our projects require the development of models in order to answer client questions. However, we also develop models which are handed over to the client for ongoing, internal use. Some examples of projects where we have done this are briefly noted below:

  • A model for use in-between formal valuations by the general management team of a large life office to enable them to accurately anticipate the level of new business embedded value written (i.e. without reliance on the actuarial valuations team);
  • A simplified, high-level representation of a life office, which has been used by the executive team of a client for their long-term, strategic planning;
  • A model developed for a group of IFA's, focused on high-net worth individuals, to maximise a client's investment portfolio by reference to the legal vehicles available to that client, available asset classes and the tax dispensations relating to the legal vehicles and assets;
  • A cash-flow model for the local start-up of a global product provider to inform management decisions and the business model.
